Your files stay in your browser

GIF files are read and compressed locally using a WebAssembly engine in a browser worker. Previews and downloads use temporary local blob URLs. Your files and filenames are not uploaded. We do not send this content to our servers, put it in URLs, or save it to a cloud account. Reloading or closing the page clears the tool session.

Hosting and network requests

Cloudflare hosts this website and serves its files, fonts and processing code. Ordinary requests include technical information such as your IP address, user agent and requested URL. Cloudflare may process this information to provide hosting, security and reliability. Local processing does not mean that visiting this website makes no network requests.

This version has no advertising, third-party analytics, account system or marketing cookies. Fonts and tool code are served from this site.

Contacting support

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you send. Support mail is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to our support inbox at Gmail. We use messages to respond and investigate issues. Do not send confidential files or personal data that is not needed for your question.
